Government High School Domkhar Gongma is located in the peaceful Domkhar Valley in Leh district, UT of Ladakh. Our school provides free, high-quality education to children from Nursery up to Class 10.

Part of J&K & JKBOSE
Earlier, when Ladakh was a part of Jammu & Kashmir state, our school was affiliated with the Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE). During this time, the school served as the main education center for children across Domkhar valley.
Formation of UT Ladakh (2019)
In 2019, Ladakh became an independent Union Territory (UT of Ladakh). With this change, government schools across Ladakh began upgrading their teaching, laboratories, and digital facilities to meet national standards.
CBSE Board Affiliation
Our school successfully shifted to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students now study with national curriculum books, smart classes, and practical lab-based learning.

Official bodies dedicated to school development, transparent management, and active community partnership.
School Management Committee (SMC)
Statutory body constituted under RTE norms to supervise school operations, infrastructure development, and community welfare in Domkhar Gongma.
